Our Impact Mission

Medical Justice for Babies in the Developing World

More than14 million babies are born prematurely each year in the developing world. Most neonatal wards lack devices to properly regulate oxygen delivery to these babies. This often causes Retinopathy of Prematurity (ROP), a disorder resulting in blindness.

To solve this problem at scale, we launched O2 Science, a medical device company in Israel. In partnership with Small World Vision, we are designing a series of new devices for the developing world. Affordable and durable, these devices will help eradicate blindness in premature infants.

ROP and similar childhood blindness conditions are preventable. If the eye is the lamp of the soul, then we have the power in our hands to turn on the light for children everywhere.
